June 4, 2010 - Playdough

 
We took Jax to get his haircut this morning and while we were waiting for them to finish up we checked out a new splash park over in Ahwautkee. It wasn’t the best but I still got wet.

  When we got home Mommy got out all the playdough toys and we made a big mess. I liked the orange playdough the best but I also called the yellow and the pink, “Orange.”

I missed Jax so when we got back I chilled with him a bit and gave him  lots of kisses. He is soft and smells good.

 

I’m working on getting dressed and undressed by myself. I still need lots of practice and sometimes get mad if I can’t do it but I get mad if Mommy tries to help. I can take my shirt, shorts, and diaper off but I’m not so good and putting them on. I can also put on slip-on shoes by myself. Mommy asked if I wanted to go swimming so here I’m showing her how fast I can take off my shirt.

In the past couple of days I’ve started stammering when I talk. My favorite phrase is, “I waa…I waa…I waa….I want…I want-e!” When Mommy tries to take a picture of the three of us using the timer she takes a toy and throws it right before it goes off (this way ensuring I’m looking at the camera). As you can see in the second shop I was very upset she threw my rubber ducky and I screamed, ““I waa…I waa…I waa….I want…I want-e!”
