Mommy thinks I'm teething earlier because I was a little cranky today. I've started this new drooling thing and I like to gum at things. I was giving mommy a little bit of a hard time by being fussy but when daddy came home I snapped right out of it. I went to Aunt Dawn and Uncle John's for our "official" weekly visit. I was wide awake and had fun visiting with everybody. I enjoy watching their fan and the shadows on the ceiling. I showed them how much I like to smile.

My First Suit

I hung out with mom today and we took some pictures in my suit. Aunt Dawn and Cassie bought it for me at Buffalo Kids. We went to aunt Dawn's this afternoon and I played in the mister. I showed Uncle John and Cassie how I smile and laugh. We hung out for a little bit. I like it over there. We picked up daddy from work and went to Babies R Us to use a gift card for diapers. Dad bought me a highchair and is putting it together right now. He also got mom a mirror for the car so she can see me in my car seat.

4th of July Swimsuit

Today was pretty uneventful. I just hung out with mom and slept. Aunt Shannon sent mom some 4th of July swim trunks for me so mom took some pictures. Jax and Gabby had 4th of July handkerchiefs so they got in on the pictures too. I can't wait to go swimming in my new suit. Thanks Aunt Shannon!

Doctor Visit- 2 Month Check-up

I went to the Dr.'s for my 2 month check-up today. I was having fun at first. The nurse made me get naked so they could take all my measurements. I weighed 13 lbs. & 2.5 ounces and I was 23 & 3/4 inches long! Everyone says I'm such a big boy and that I have a lot of hair. I'm in the 75% percentile for my weight and height. Mom says I'm getting chunky but I like being at the top of the charts. Mommy asked the doctor questions about my eye. The doctor says it still looks ok and they will keep watching it. If I keep having the discharge (my tear duct in my right eye is clogged) after I'm 1 year old they may do a procedure to open it up. My hydrocelle (a sack of liquid on my testicles) has gotten a little bigger but the doctor says that it should go away too. If it doesn't go away or gets worse they may do surgery. I have an umbilical hernia (my belly button looks like an outie) but that to should go away with time. The doctor said I was healthy and looked good. The nurse came in and gave me 5 immunizations. I had to get four shots (2 in each thigh) and drink a liquid for one. I cried for a few seconds but was such a trooper. When we got home I took a nap. When I woke up I was not happy. I'm a little upset and have cried more today then every before. Hopefully tomorrow I'll feel better.

First Trip to California

I went on my first road trip to my great-grandma's in Palm Desert, California. Grammie Pennington and mommy came too. We left on Sunday June 22nd and came back really late Tuesday the 24th. I was such a good boy and slept the whole time in the car. I got to meet my great aunt Sandy and lots of my cousins (Brittany, Jason, Tiffany, Steven and Meagan). I loved all the attention. I especially liked cousin Brittany and how she would rub my eyebrows to put me to sleep. I rode on my first golf cart and went swimming with grammie in the baby pool. I had lots of fun and can't wait to go back again soon.

Swimming with the Cherne's

We went over to Aunt Dawn's after we got daddy from work. They ate really good barbecue (I get some tomorrow) and then we went swimming. I just love to swim! I had a lot of fun and was so sleepy after swimming.

1st Pictures

Mommy took me to get my pictures done. I was a pretty good but I didn't really smile a lot. Mommy loved all the pictures but we have to wait until July 2nd to see them but you can see the outfit I wore up above.

Dinner at Cherne's

Mommy had to go to the dentist today and I went with her. I slept the whole time. We went to dinner at the Cherne's. I like it over here.

Monday Night at the Cherne's

We went over to aunt Dawn's so mommy could watch The Mole with them. I had lots of fun with everybody. I hope we do this every Monday!

Our Father's Day

I won't get to see dad tomorrow so we celebrated Father's Day today. Mom dressed me up just like dad (khaki shorts, a white undershirt tank, and Adidas shoes). Dad was surprised and we took pictures. After dad got out of work we went over to aunt Dawn's and took some more pictures and then we went out to eat. I bought dad a hat and shirt that says, "#1 Dad".

Jax Gets Neutered

Jax went to the vet this morning to get neutered. I went with mommy to drop him off and Jax rode with me at the foot of my car seat. I missed him all day. We went out to lunch at the Olive Garden with mommy's friend Katie but I just slept the whole time.

Aunt Dawn Babysits Again

Mommy had to go to school for a meeting and Aunt Dawn babysat me. I had lots of fun.

Doctor Visit

Mommy called the doctor and we went in today. I have something funny on my testicles and the doctor sent us to the hospital for a testicular ultrasound. We went to the hospital for the procedure. It took a long time (mostly waiting) but I was VERY well behaved. The doctor says that it isn't a hernia but something called a hydrocelle. It is a collection of fluid and should just go away. Mommy is suppose to watch it and make sure it doesn't get bigger or hurt me. I weighed 11 lbs and 2 oz today

Oh yeah! I went swimming for the 1st time last Saturday (June 7th). It was so much fun but the water was pretty cold so I didn't get to stay long.

My 1st Babysitter

Mommy went to the store and ran some errands and Aunt Dawn came over to babysit. We had a good time and she took lots of pictures. Mommy came home with lots of stuff and said she was able to get a lot done.

Jax and Daddy

Today I was in my swing and I got tired and started to cry and little Jax came over to check on me. Mommy thought it was reaaly cute. I told her we were buddies and he's just looking out for me. I got to hang out with dad when he got home after work.
