Hats and Chocolate

Grammy and Papa spent the night last night on their way back to Tucson. One of my new favorite things is hats. I like to stick anything on my head and walk around saying, "hat". The other thing I enjoy doing is getting into the fridge when Mommy is cooking. Today I opened the fridge and started eating the Hershey's chocolate syrup. It was good!

McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park -Scottsdale, AZ

Uncle John is in town and last night I got to go over there and play for awhile. Uncle John bought me the DVD version of Pete's Dragon and I am so excited because it's my new favorite movie. This morning Mom and Dad took me to McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park in Scottsdale (Scottsdale and Indian Bend) to ride the train. I even got to ride the Merry-Go-Round once with Mom and once with Dad but the train was better. There was an old west playground and a bed regular playground with misters but it was still really hot. When we got home we ate lunch and then I took my nap. We went over to the Cherne's for dinner but all I ate was barbecue chips. I got to play in the sprinkler and go swimming. Cassie and Johnny brought Daddy and me Krispy Kreme hats. Cassie and Uncle John got me a Little Einstein's wand to conduct music. Aunt Dawn hooked up the dog leash to my Little Einstein's red rocket and it was so much fun pulling it all around the house. Thanks everybody!

Haircut

Mommy and Daddy took me to get my haircut today. It was getting way to long and in my face and it hasn't been that long since my last haircut so Mommy and Daddy had her go pretty short. We went to a different place and I got to sit in a car and watch Winnie the Pooh.

Pudding

Mommy let me have a kiddie tv dinner tonight. It had chicken nuggets, corn, macaroni and cheese, and chocolate pudding. I didn't really enjoy the meal but I loved the pudding. I started off just dipping my thumb and licking it but then I just decided to stick my whole fist and grab handfuls. Before I was done I had to try and lick the bowl clean. Mmmmm!

Playing at the Park

This morning we went to church and I got to play in the nursery. Mommy and Daddy had work to do while I napped in the afternoon but after I woke up and ate dinner we went to the park. Mommy and Daddy didn't know this park was going to have the splash pad on and I was excited to get wet. Every time they put me down on the playground I headed straight for the water. Of course after I played in the water awhile I just wanted to get back into the sand.

Daddy took me for a ride in the bouncing car. Who likes like they are having more fun?

Going down the big slides still scares me and I prefer to go backwards. I went facing forward on the spiral slide because it doesn't go as fast.

The splash pad was fun and I loved getting wet.

Sprinkler

Grammie bought me a sprinkler to play in today. It had lots of spray settings but I liked this one the best. It was lots of fun to get wet and put my hands in or hold it up like a shower nozzle. I didn't really get running through it but Mommy held my hand and helped me through a couple of times. I really like to play in the grass. I which we had grass at my house.

Food Fight

Grammie, Papa and Nana came today. I didn't have to go to daycare at the Castles. I went swimming with Cassie, Johnny and Grammie at Aunt Dawn's. I even got to try to sit in my very own tube. Dinner got a little messy when I started eating directly from the bowl and then wearing it as a hat. Johnny said I had a food fight with myself and lost. Before bed I cuddled up with Papa and we watched some Pete's Dragon.

Asleep at the Wheel

Today Daddy and I went to church because Mommy was WAY behind in school work and needed some time to get it done. I fell asleep on the way home from church but Mommy and Daddy woke me up to eat lunch. I watched Daddy wash the car while Mommy cleaned inside. Mommy and Daddy kept thinking I would nap but I had a lot of energy. Finally around 5:30 we went to the grocery store. I got to ride in the car and drive the cart. I was getting sleepy and near the end I started to fall asleep. I kept falling forward and hitting the steering wheel or the side of the car. I slept for about 15 minutes until we got home and then it was dinner time. Aunt Dawn came over around 7:45 and I got to go over to her house and play until Daddy came to get me around 10pm. I'm really tired now and I should sleep good for Mommy and Daddy.

Swimming With My Floaties

When Daddy got home this morning we all went swimming. Mommy let me wear my floaties and I was swimming all by myself. It's about time they let go. I was so proud of myself. I kept trying to drink the water though and I don't think Mommy and Daddy liked that.

Razzleberry Pie

Mommy keeps forgetting to tell everyone about what I did last Sunday morning. I was playing in the bathroom opening and shutting the door (not all the way) while Mommy was at the sink. I pushed the door all the way shut and then turned the lock. Mommy came to open the door but she couldn't. Mommy freaked out! She knew that the toilet seat was down but I was being really quiet and she was scared. She kept saying, "Hi" and trying to get me to talk. Mommy grabbed the screwdriver and called for Daddy. They took off the doorknob and got me out really quick. I don't think I'll do that again because it really scared my Mommy.

After Daddy got out of work we went over to the Cherne's. We had dinner and I got to sit at the table again. I wasn't really too hungry and just wanted to play. Aunt Dawn splashed me with the water from the refrigerator and I thought it was funny. She also put bows in the hair and I got to see it in the mirror. Cassie fed me some berry pie for dessert and it was really good. They all watched a movie (I Love You, Man) while I played. It was pretty late and I was tired so I laid down with Cassie and fell asleep. Mommy even fell asleep on the couch and Aunt Dawn put a bow in her hair.

Uncle John

Brittany told Mommy that I had fun today because there were lots of kids to play with. They took this picture for Mommy while I was eating lunch. Mommy thinks the other little boy is named Preston and he's about 2 1/2.Uncle John is in town and they came over to my house to visit. They even brought me a new toy car. It's a Joker car and you shake it to make it go. Now I the Batman and the Joker car. Thanks Uncle John!Cassie and I had fun playing in my Ikea basket that holds all the balls for my basketball hoop. Uncle John was wearing a hat and I liked to take it off so I could see him better. He even shared his cold water with me straight out of the bottle.

Mesquite Groves

We went to church this morning and I got to play with lots of girls in the nursery. After church we ate a quick lunch and got ready to go to the water park with Aunt Dawn, Cassie and Johnny.

I like to try on big shoes and today I even walked around in one of Daddy's flip-flops while we were getting ready to leave.

We went to Mesquite Groves Aquatic Center which was pretty far away so I napped on the way. It was crowded but we had lots of fun. I played on the big water playground and there was a big bucket on top that filled with water and then dumped it on you.

We went in the lazy river and floated around and around. As we floated there were buckets that dumped water on us. Cassie took me down one of the slides. I liked it and said, "Weeee" and "more" so we did it again and again.

We even went in the vortex whirlpool and floated round and round.

I liked the splash pad and running around getting wet. I also tried making friends and went up to a little boy and a little girl and said, "Hi". Our day ended though when I was playing here and a big kid (12 or 13) came running through and knocked me down. I hit the side of my head on the concrete and it hurt. I cried a bunch! Some lady saw what happened and gave us some ice. Cassie had just bought an Italian ice so she gave me that while Mommy held the ice on my head. The lifeguard checked me out but Mommy and Daddy took me to the Urgent Care just to make sure. The doctor looked me over and said I looked ok but they are suppose to watch me for things like lethargy, getting sick, and they have to wake me up a couple times when I sleep tonight.

This is my boo boo. When we got home I ate dinner, had a bath and then played awhile before falling asleep really early around 7 pm but I didn't take a nap so Mom and Dad think it's ok.
