This morning Mommy and I took the car to the dealership. It has been making a fun noise and needed a service check. I was not at all happy about having to wait around so Mommy got a rental so that we could go home but then I discovered the pirate ship. It was pretty cool to climb around on and there was this really cool door that went into a little room and that was my favorite part. Our car needed $2,700 worth of repairs. I think that’s a lot of money.
We got a Sienna minivan for our rental. There was so much room. Mommy loved it. She said just sitting behind the steering wheel made her feel like a soccer mom. There was even a built in mirror so she could see me in the back. The best part was the leg room and I had my own air-conditioning vent in the back. My very own! It was so nice and cool. I also could see right out the window at everything we were driving by. I kept telling Mommy, “Stuck!” and trying to get out of my car seat. I wanted to walk around and check it out. It was like a room on wheels. The only downside Mommy found was that when I dropped my sippy cup she couldn’t just reach back and get it. Mommy and Daddy asked me, “Do you like the car?” I said, “Up High! Doors!”
On the way home Mommy and I went to Michael’s go get some paint. Wow! It was like a toy store. I saw so many things I liked. They had cars, trains, Mickey stuff, birds, flowers, etc. It was lots of fun exploring. Mommy and I found lots of things to paint that were under a $1. We came home and did some arts and crafts. I even painted the two cars that I picked out. We also finished up my 4th of July projects from art class.
We made lots of crafts using a tracing Mommy dad of my handprint.
We used a sponge to paint the stars. It was fun at first but then I just wanted to paint the stars (see picture above).
Today Mommy was changing a poopy diaper. I’ve had really bad diahrea from the antibiotics you know. Anyway Mommy heard a little toot and before she could do anything it was shooting all over the floor. I really wanted to sit on my potty so Mommy sat me down. She cleaned up the mess and ran to get the carpet cleaner. When she got back I was standing by the potty (which was no longer empty) raising my hands in the air saying mess. She grabbed me and took me to the bath, got me dressed and then cleaned the carpet. She sat down and took a deep breath when she was done. Did you know that I woke up before 5:30 am this morning and I would not take a nap. Mommy laid me down and I stayed in there talking for about an hour before I got up. I finally crashed out at 4:30 pm watching a show in my chair.
I like putting this basket (used to hold my balls) over my head. Today I INSISTED Mommy keep it on for almost an hour. Not only that but I spent most of the time inside the basket with her. At one point it was me, her and a book in the basket. I had fun but I don’t think Mommy really likes that game. I can’t find my basket right now.
We wanted to take Daddy for a ride in the minivan so we went to Dairy Queen. I got to try a little of Mommy’s and Daddy’s. Daddy asked if I wanted to go to bed. I told him, “ No, Daddy you sleep!” I took his hand and then made him lay down in the middle of the floor. I covered him with a blanket and then got Mommy. I made her move and sleep on the floor too. I didn’t like the way she was lying and she couldn’t understand what I wanted. I kept pushing her down and then saying, “Wake up Mommy”, “Wake up Daddy!” and moving them around.
Later I wanted to play with Jax. I ran around shaking his toy saying, “Jax, coommmmeee ‘er. Play!”
