Happy birthday to me! Happy birthday to me! Yesterday was my 2nd birthday. I had a lot of fun. We went to Desert Breeze Park for my party. Grammie, Papa, Uncle Jeff and Mommy and Daddy were there. Mommy invited a couple of my friends to come too. Izabel and her mommy (Mandy) and Simon (from daycare) and his parents came. Mommy invited Ricky (from my old daycare) but he was sick, Sebastian (my best buddy) but he has been sick and in and out of the hospital, and Aiden who has been in the hospital for the past few days (he broke a finger and got an infection). Daddy went to see Aiden in the hospital and gave him a treat box from my party. I got to play on the playground and was much more daring with the slides. I spent the whole time on the biggest one. papa and Grammie helped me climb the big kid ladder. It was a pretty warm day and once I saw the splash pad I had to get wet. I spent most of my time playing here. I rode the carousel with Izabel and got to ride the train twice. The first time I went with Grammie, Izabel and her Mommy and then I rode again with Mommy, Izabel, her mommy, Simon, and his parents. I got lots of cool presents. I got a new swimsuit from Aunt Julie and Uncle Keith. Mommy and Daddy gave me a Mac semi truck (from Cars), a Matchbox parking garage, and two cars pictures for my room. Aunt Dawn and Uncle John sent me my very own couch, chair and ottomon (Cars themed). Cassie and Johnny sent me a t-shirt, some Cars books, and a car carrying case filled with cars. Now I can take them all everywhere! Uncle Jeff gave me a Lightening McQueen race car that goes really fast when you shake it. Nana sent me these really big construction trucks that I’ll be able to use in the sand at the park. Woo hoo! No more trying to borrow other kids sand toys. Now mine are the coolest. Grammie and Papa got me some smaller construction trucks and a yellow hard hat, a bunch of shovels, buckets, rakes and everything else I could need in the sand. They even got me a little wagon I can pull all my sand toys in and a new movie called The Wild. We haven’t had a chance to go to the park yet but I’m so excited. They also got me some pool toys, a big Cars towel and a super cool “bike” thing that you move by turning the steering wheel back and forth (no pedals). I don’t quite have it down and mostly use my feet but I can sure go fast down the hallway. Aunt Shannon, Uncle Brent and the girls sent me lots of little Cars things with candy, a t-shirt from Walt Disney World and the coolest Lightning McQueen icepack that I can use when I get a boo boo. Grammy and Papa Ferry sent me lots of new clothes and some money to go in my savings account. I am all set for summer now with a bunch of new shorts (our favorite cargos from Children’s place) and t-shirts. Izabel gave me a lawnmower that I can push and it blows bubbles. Mommy hasn’t let me put the bubbles in it yet but I love the noise it makes and have been pushing it up and down the hallway. Simon gave me some Cars books and a monster truck. It goes really far when I pull it back on the ground. I got a Cars cup and two Cars t-shirts from Chris and Amy (Mommy’s friends from work). The cup is so cool and I can make Lightning McQueen spin on the bottom. Oh yeah and the park gave me the cool engineer hat you see in the pictures. Thank you everyone! I had a great birthday!
I was suppose to be blowing out the candle when Grammie leaned me into the cake but I thought I she was helping me grab the Mater from the top of the cake.
My friend Izabel is such a cutie pie!
Simon has a love from transportation just like me. He didn’t like the carousel but loved the train.
Daddy was trying to put sunscreen on me when Mommy snapped this picture. I have my two year old molars coming in so I had my finger in my mouth a lot today. It REALLY hurts! Mommy says this is probably the fussiest teething I’ve had so far.
Kickin’ back and relaxing in my new chair.
