June 28, 2010 - Parachute

Today was my last tumbling class. I did much better then I had at the other classes. Don’t get me wrong I still did a lot of my own thing but I participated too. I got to be the last monkey jumping on the bed (the trampoline) and I liked playing under the parachute at the end.P1170855-1P1170856-1P1170858-1P1170853-1P1170859-1I’m not feeling well (runny nose and cough) and I threw up when Mommy tried putting me down for a nap. I didn’t get to sleep until 3:30 pm.

My 2nd Audiology Report arrived today. It says…
Colton  came in for a follow-up hearing evaluation after having abnormal tympanometry and otoscopy on 6/3/10. He was treated for an episode of otitis media and antibiotics were finished. Today, tympanometry suggests normal right middle ear function and a stiffened left middle ear system. Otoscopy revealed slight redness of the left ear canal. Ear specific threshold testing was attempted; however, the patient would not condition to the task with the insert earphones in his ears.
Recommendations:
1. Note to pediatrician for follow-up and any indicated treatment plans
2. Follow-up with the pediatrician to determine need for an ENT consultation

3. Once middle ears are clear attempt ear specific audiologic testing.
