The other day I decided to play with all my Elmo’s. This one turned out to be my favorite for the day. I enjoyed knocking him over and picking him back up. It was fun because he was talking right to me.
Sometimes when I play with my cars Mommy says I get a little rough. She doesn’t know that I’m just playing demolition derby.
Look what I made at school. The bottom picture is my hand and the leaves are my fingerprints. Cool huh?
Mommy and I spent awhile in the kitchen today. It was fun and every time we left the kitchen I asked, “Go kitchen…cooking.”
First we cleaned out my pumpkin so we could toast the seeds. It was really “Gross!” and “Icky!” in there. I didn’t want to reach in at first so I asked for a spoon. I did eventually try with my bare hands but I didn’t really like the slimy feeling.
After we got it all cleaned out we washed the seeds. It was fun picking them out of the water and putting them in a different bowl. Then Mommy let me paint it. I decided to paint the whole thing. Mommy says I did a pretty good job of complete coverage.
When we finished painting our pumpkin Mommy let me help make sugar cookies. It was lots of fun and I was good and pouring stuff in the bowl for Mommy. I really wanted to do the “eggies” but Mommy wouldn’t let me. See the stamps on my hand? Sometimes at school we get stamps. The other day Mommy wrote a reminder on her hand and I thought it was a stamp. Everyday since then I keep asking for a stamp. Mommy finally dug some out today and I’ve insisted on stamping myself every time I go potty.
I loved the mixer! It was so cool and I only had to watch Mommy once to figure out how to turn it on. I had just finished dumping in all the flour in the bowl when Papa called on the phone. Mommy was taking these pictures while grabbing the phone. I decided it needed to be mixed and turned it on full speed. Wow! It was super neat and flour flew all over. “Again! Again.” Papa got to hear the whole thing over the phone.
Later Mommy let me frost some of my own cookies. It was fun at first and I called it, “Painting” but then I dipped a finger in to taste it and it was all over from there. Daddy came in the kitchen and saw what was up so he joined in. We dipped graham crackers in the frosting and ate them. Yummy!
