Disneyland Day 3

Splash pad play area inside Bug's Life at California Adventure

Flik's Flyer
Cotton candy...mmmm!

My new pirate hat.The mini-fridge was cool. I could open it, sit in it and get whatever I wanted out all by myself.
Today we started off at California Adventure again. We rode Monster's Inc, watched Aladdin, meet Goofy, rode Flik's Flyer again, played in the water at Bug's Life, and ate lunch. It was hot today and I really enjoyed getting wet and playing in the water. There was a big kid who was looking out for me and another little boy that came up and said, "Want to come play with our baby?" (pointing to his little brother). After we left the park we went to Huntington Beach and I got to play in the sand. I let my feet get wet in the water but it was cold. I liked the sand but I didn't like it stuck to my hands so I kept trying to eat it.

Disneyland Day 2

Toy StoryJungle CruiseDumboI had my very 1st pickle here so of course I had to carry on the tradition.Small World

Main Street

I was so excited to see all the toys when we exited Buzz Lightyear. I ran around grabbing and pointing at everything. It took Mommy a few minutes to get the camera out so the video doesn't show all my excitment. I saw a big buzz while waiting in line and yelled out, "Buzz! Buzz!" Pooped!

Today we woke up and took the shuttle over to the parks (yesterday we parked the car in the garage). We started at California Adventure again today. Grammy rode Soaring Over California as a single rider and we went and met Lightening McQueen and Mater. This time we headed to the back part by the pier. It was raining so we had on our jackets. We went on the big ferris wheel. We were in a car that slid around and rocked. Mommy and I were scared. It rocked a lot (like completely sideways) and there were on seat belts or bars to hold on. Mommy put her fingers through the wire cage and held on with one hand and squeezed me with the other. I don't think we'll do the swinging cage again. Next, we got in line for Toy Story. It was a long line and I didn't like waiting. I made it though and it was pretty cool watching Mommy and Grammy shooting all the targets. I saw a lady eating a Churro and wanted to try one so Mommy got me one. It was good and I was covered in sugar! We had covered all of California Adventure so we went back to Disneyland. Grammy had rented one of the scooters so we got to get on all the rides without waiting in the regular line. This was really good because I didn't like the waiting from the first day. We rode just about anything you can think of that I was allowed on. It's a Small World, Buzz Lightyear, Dumbo, Snow White, Pinocchio, Peter Pan, Winnie Pooh, Jungle Cruise, Pirate's of the Caribbean, and The Haunted House (changed to Nightmare before Christmas). I saw lots of characters but got to go up and meet Tigger. We watched Honey I Shrunk the Audience in 3D and I even saw singing birds in the Tiki Lounge.

Disneyland Day 1

The first ride I went on was Monsters Inc.These are the Lady Bugs that spin like the teacups. I gave Mickey five. Here we are at the Pixar ParadeIt's a Small WorldDinner
Grammy, Mommy and Me left yesterday afternoon to go on a trip. We spent the night at Nana's in Palm Desert. I was really good on the drive even though there was construction that made what should have been a 4 hour drive almost 6 hours. At first I wasn't sure where I was and I was a little scared but then I warmed up and went crazy. I was asking what everything was and running all around. Nana has a ceiling fan that has a remote. It was so much fun turning the light on and off. This morning Nana went to the doctor and then we all left and head to Los Angeles. We dropped Nana off at Aunt Mae's and then headed to Disneyland. We went to California Adventure first. Mommy knew that I would want to go to Playhouse Disney (one of my favorite things from last time) but the show wasn't starting yet so we went on the Monsters Inc. ride first. When we were done it was time for Playhouse Disney. It was still really cool and I liked when the bubbles and leaves fell from the ceiling. As we were leaving I got to meet Mickey Mouse again. We went to the Bug's Life play land and I rode the Flix Flyers (kind of like hot air balloons that spin) and the Ladybug teacups. As we left this area the Pixar Parade was starting and I got to see the Monsters Inc. guys, all the Toy Story characters, and even the Bug's Life guys. We left California Adventure and headed over to Disneyland where we went on It's a Small World and then played around in Toon Town. It was getting really late so we headed to the hotel. Of course I still had a ton of energy and wanted to run around and explore everything.

Family Picture

We hadn't taken a real family picture since I was 5 months old so we went today to get a new one. Mommy and Daddy didn't really like any of the pictures but this one was the best. In and out of Portrait Innovations for just over $20.00 that was impressive. Wish we could say the same about our appointment. That took about an hour. I was really impatient and just wanted to play so it made picture taking hard. I got to Skype with the Cherne's tonight. It was cool to see them because I miss them so much. I had a big smile on my face! The camera kept freezing though so I couldn't always see them. I hope Mommy gets that fixed for next time. My Mickey ears from Disneyland are sitting out. I wonder what Mommy is up to?

Cars

I'm really starting to enjoy playing on my own. Right now my favorite thing to play with is my cars. I put them down the slide, drive them around the track, push them on the tile, move them in and out the backs of the kitchen chairs, across bookshelves and windows, etc.

Bully

I got to paint a pumpkin at Misty's yesterday. Today, we put pumpkin stickers all over our paper. I heard Mommy tell Daddy he needs to stop rough-housing with me so much because I'm picking on the other kids. When Mommy dropped me off and picked me up (three days in a row now) she saw me being mean to other kids. When the babies (6 & 9 months old) are sitting I walk up and try to push them over and sit on them (the way Daddy and I wrestle). I also hit them on the head and then try to pet them like Jax. I was so good with baby Maya and Mommy doesn't get it. Ricky and I were playing chase Monday morning and when I caught him I pushed him down. Today when Mommy dropped me off I was hitting poor little Ricky on the head with a book. Mommy hopes that this is a short phase and that I'm not going to continue this bully stage. I made Mommy and Daddy laugh and laugh tonight. I had so much energy and was running around acting crazy for almost 45 minutes. I kept saying the word blue, clicking my tongue on the roof of my mouth, spinning circles, jumping up and down, etc. Mommy thought it was the funniest when I climbed on the coffee table (not allowed) and started dancing and tapping my toes. Mommy was laughing so hard she put her hand over her mouth. I copied her and they started laughing even harder.

Costumes Arrived!

Our Halloween costumes got here today. Remember the poll? I was almost a pirate but when all the votes came in Batman and Robin had pulled ahead. Of course we had to try them on to see if they would fit. They looked so big but will work for both of us. It's going to take me some getting used to so Mommy says we'll wear them a few more times before Halloween. There will be no eye mask with my costume because I DO NOT like it! I might be able to get used to Daddy's mask but I kept shaking my head and telling him, "No, No!" when he put it on. Since we got the sneak preview I figured I'd share it with you.

Smart Boy

I'm getting pretty good at sorting my shapes.

Even though Mommy calls the barn a house I still figure the puzzle out.

Mommy teaching me that a cow says, "Moooo" and how to snort like a pig.

The Movies

I forgot to attach the pictures from my 1st movie.

Final Days

Johnny let me watch Classical Baby on his phone one last time.

Yesterday when Mommy came to pick me up Aunt Dawn and Johnny were with her so they got to meet Misty and my friends. Aunt Dawn and Johnny took me to my very first movie theatre. I have been to the drive-in but this was the first "real" movie. We saw Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs. It was good. Aunt Dawn and Johnny liked how attentive I was and how I would say, "Oh No" in all the right places. This morning they had a flight to Chicago so we had to say goodbye. We went to the airport to see them off. We were all very sad to see them go. It's going to be really hard not having them close by (I LOVE THEM A LOT)!! Mommy was kind of sad to miss my 1st movie so her and Daddy took me to see Ice Age 3. The movie theatre we went to was the cheap one and the seats weren't as cool and my booster kept slipping but I liked the movie. I did the same thing with the oh no's and was giggling really loud. A few people turned around to look at me. Two of Mommy's friends from work (mother and daughter teaching assistants) were having a party so we went and said hi so we could meet all their family. I liked the music and the glow sticks.

Fall Art

I was still sick on Wednesday and Mommy had to stay home from work with me again. I still have a runny nose, a little bit of a cough, and my ear is hurting (I tug on it) but I'm feeling better. I got to go back to Misty's Thursday and Friday. I missed playing with my friends. The moving van came to load up the Cherne's on Monday and Tuesday. Once all their stuff was gone they came and stayed with us. My art from this week at Misty'sSome times I'm just so pooped that I fall asleep in the middle of the floor.
Aunt Dawn taught me how to play DS.

I've become a good helper and my favorite job is putting away the soda with Mommy or Daddy.

Poor Baby!

I was so sick Sunday night (cough and runny nose) so we had to stay home Monday. I had a fever (on and off), the cough, runny nose and diarrhea. Mommy said I looked so pathetic and it was really hard on her not being able to make it all better. This morning when we woke up I was still sick and so was Mommy. I even threw up for the first time. I just looked at it and said, "Oh no". Mommy took me to the doctor and they tested me for the flu but that wasn't it. I did have an ear infection though so they gave Mommy medicine. It tastes like bubblegum and I kind of like it. Mommy says that is a good thing because they make me take quite a bit. I lost 10 ounces in weight since I was at the doctor on Friday. I hope Mommy and I feel better tomorrow because she needs to get back to work and I miss all my friends at Misty's.

Desert Breeze

Yesterday we drove down to Tucson so Mommy could see Grammy. I even got to see Grammy through the window. I could see her better then she could see me. Daddy said I waved and said, "Hi". I can't wait to hug her! We got home late so I went straight to bed. This morning I woke up really early. By the time church was coming around I was starting to get fussy so we stayed home. Mom and Dad took me to Desert Breeze Park in Chandler. It was lots of fun. I rode the train, the carousel, and a baby ferris wheel thing. There was a huge playground and I played there for a little bit. I went down the twisty tunnel slide twice all by myself. Daddy and I went down the really big twisty together. I was getting hot and when I saw the splash park I headed over there. I had lots of fun getting all wet.
