Central Park was an easy stop to get off the train in Manhattan so we stopped there every day. Our hotel was only 2 stops away and about a 5 minute ride.
The guy taking our picture had a friend who jumped in the back of this shot so he took it again.
Everywhere was VERY crowded today (Saturday)! We ate lunch at the Brooklyn Diner. Neither of us thought it was worth the money.
We went to the top of Rockefeller (The Top of the Rock). This was very cool. There were multiple levels both indoor and out. The highest level was actually the very top of the building and there was only a small railing (no glass or anything like everywhere else). They were able to do that because the highest floor is actually very small and so the next level down (that has 8 ft glass pieces) is only 15 ft below. The ride to the top was cool too because the top of the elevator is see through and there are lights all the way up and then you see the top of the elevator shaft quickly approaching.
We spent awhile shopping in China town and Little Italy. We ate some really good chinese food there. It was called the (forget first word) Dumpling (corner of Canal and LaFayette). It was really good.
