Star Light, Star Bright

These are the sheets that Misty fills out for Mommy and Daddy EVERY day! Can you believe it? Mommy couldn't get the other babysitters to do it more than twice and all they had to do was circle things on a 1/4 sized paper. This is VERY detailed and lists everything I ate, drank, tells about my diapers, what we did, etc. Today for breakfast I ate homemade apple bread, 1/2 cup diced pears and some other fruit Mommy had brought from home. We worked on letter recognition and sang the ABC's. We had circle time where we sang songs and read stories. For snack I had 1/2 wheat tortilla and 1/2 cup scrambled eggs (Mommy keeps trying to feed me these two but I'm still not trying it). We worked on the color red and made hand print art (see below) and then made a fall tree picture with marker. For lunch I had 1 cup shepherd's pie with ground beef, potatoes and carrots. I also had a piece of cheddar Texas toast. I took a nap from 1:15 to 3:00 when Misty woke me up for snack because Mommy was coming to get me. I ate a cup of pretzels and 1/2 cup diced plums. I had two BM diapers and was changed four times in all. See what I mean? She is impressive! Oh yeah, she even had a piece of apple bread on a paper plate for Mommy to take (Mommy said it was REALLY good) and a Tupperware of shepherd's pie for Mommy to have. Mommy was going to have it for lunch but was so busy that she never ate and forgot all about it. Mommy said she'll have it for lunch tomorrow. Isn't that so sweet? We colored trees with a green marker. Of course I still try to eat it and got green on my mouth. No worries guys...it was non-toxic.
Today we learned the word red and I even got to make hand prints with paint. I liked the way the paint felt and wanted to try and finger paint so I moved a little but I didn't do too bad. I bet next time my hand prints will be even better. I ate my snack today with Ricky. Ricky is at daycare on the days with Ethan isn't (they are both 15 months).
Today we got to play at the water table. It was lots of fun and we got really wet.

So let me tell you a little about my new daycare. It is a home care but she is college educated and even licensed for childcare. She is also apart of the food program and so I get to eat really healthy food. She has already given Mommy a few good ideas of things to help me be healthy. Misty is the wonderful lady who is taking care of me. She has three daughters who are away at school during the day. They are really cute with long curly (spiral) hair. So far I think the youngest (5 years old) will be my favorite. There are two little girls that are 6 and 9 months old (Mommy's had a hard week and doesn't remember their names). They really move around a lot and both can already crawl forward. One of them is even pulling herself up on things. She also watches 2 little boys named Ethan and Ricky. They are both 15 months old. The don't come on the same days though. One comes three days and week and the other comes on the other two. So I always have one buddy my age. Cool huh? Mommy is so impressed with Misty!!! She even took these pictures so everybody can see. Mommy says that she is so good that everybody would be impressed and approve. Hopefully Aunt Dawn can get to meet her before they move to Chicago so she'll have an idea of who is taking care of me now.
