I got to play with Aunt Dawn, Cassie and Johnny this afternoon. Mommy and Daddy had to run some errands. They went to the mall to get Mommy some new clothes for work and Daddy some sunglasses. They even bought me a new pair of shoes because my other ones were getting too small. When they were done we all had dinner together and then went swimming. Aunt Dawn let me play with the hose in the pool and that was neat.

Day 2 with Dawn and Brittany Castle (my babysitters)

Today was my second day with the Castles. I cried when Mommy left but only for a few seconds. Mommy even heard me stop before she got off the porch. I played with the baby in the morning. He is about 4 or 5 months and they told Mommy his name but she forgets and I don't know how to spell it. I took a nap on the couch from 11:30 to 1:30 according to my note and the pictures they took for Mommy (Mommy put an old digital camera in my diaper bag for them to use). The note also said that I was content and that I played well. In the afternoon one of Dawn's granddaughters was there for me to play with. We were going to blow bubbles but Mommy showed up to get me. She's bigger (about 2.5 years old) and we couldn't understand when she said her name but it sounded like Kiki or Kaylee (it starts with a 'k' and ends with a long e). Usually when I see Mommy or Daddy being in the church nursery or yesterday I instantly cry but today when I saw Mommy I just said, "Hi". Mommy took me back to her school and I played in the classroom while she got a little work done but then she just walked me around and showed everyone how much I've grown.

1st Days

Today was Mommy's 1st day back at work. I didn't sleep good last night and laid in Mommy and Daddy's bed moving around from 3-4:40am. In the morning Daddy feed me breakfast and got me ready so Mom could get ready for work. Daddy and Mommy took me to the babysitter a little after seven. Daddy had an interview for a new job at DHL in the afternoon so he had to borrow the car. When we got there I started crying because I figured out what was going on. It was really hard for Mommy to close the door and keep walking when I was crying. She had a long day at work so Daddy picked me up around 3:30pm and then we went to get Mommy. The babysitter told Daddy that I did ok and only cried for a few minutes. Mommy gave Daddy a hard time for not asking more questions about my first day like: Did I nap? Was I fussy? Did I play? etc.
Tonight we went to Aunt Dawn's for dinner. I got to sit in a regular chair for the first time and I even had pizza. We stayed and I played for awhile. Mommy said it was nice not to have to cook dinner after so a long day. Thanks Aunt Dawn!

My Blue Chairs

Today we had to sit around and wait on the flood repair guys. They came three times (measuring, getting a sample, and checking matches) but won't start the repair work until tomorrow. Then they come back Wednesday to do the cleaning. Woo hoo! Mommy is excited to have it fixed and back to normal. I had fun in my new playroom. I climbed on my blue chair and sat on the arm. Mommy was afraid I would fall but when I didn't she got out the camera and snapped the shots above. I look pretty cute huh? Mommy really didn't like it when I put my feet on the arm rests and tried balancing. She immediately made me get down...no pictures. Aunt Dawn called to talk tonight and Daddy said, "Aunt Dawn" really loud which made me think she was here and I got all excited and watched the kitchen door. It was so cruel. Aunt Dawn heard about this so her and Johnny came over and played for awhile. I made my first basket! I didn't throw it put I reached up and dropped it in all on my own. Mommy goes back to work on Thursday and there are only two days left of us hanging together all day. I'm pretty worried for Mommy because she is really sad and scared. I think I'll be ok with it once I meet the lady and kids I'll be staying with during the day.

Castle

This morning Mommy was not feeling well and Daddy said that it could be Mommy's Day. Daddy and I went to church all alone. The nursery said that I played well today. It was fun and there was a little boy my age named Ethan. Daddy took me to a barbecue at Riley's house. Riley has a son named Aiden who is a little younger than me. Aunt Dawn and Johnny brought over my castle and some other toys from their house. Mommy rearranged and set up my new playroom for me while we were gone. Daddy let Mommy have almost the whole day off and Mommy enjoyed it. Thanks Aunt Dawn!!! My castle is the coolest. I also love my kitchen, my workshop, my chairs, my squares (which are now my basketball court), etc, etc.

Facing Forward

This morning Mommy and Daddy went to the Chandler Fire Department and had them turn my car seat around so now I face forward. It's pretty cool because I can see Mommy and Daddy up in the front.

Grammy took me swimming and I showed her my new floaties. We all went over to Aunt Dawn's and hung out for the afternoon. I gave Aunt Dawn a big hug.

Grammy and Nana

Mommy gave me a diaper box to play with. I had fun for hours sitting in the box and climbing in and out of it.Grammy and Nana came today. Both Grammy and Nana read me stories.I played some basketball with Grammy. She even showed me how to dunk

Driving at the Grocery Store

Mom and Dad had to go shopping and they let me drive the cart in this cool car. They were all REALLY dirty and Mommy almost didn't let me but then she found this one and it was pretty clean so I got to ride. It made grocery shopping a lot easier for Mommy and Daddy because I was content.

Grammy

Grammy came by today and we had lunch together. We got to visit for awhile before Grammy had to leave to go get Nana. She's coming back in a few days though so I'll get to see her again. I like when Grammy visits! She will sit and read with me whenever I want.

The Climber

I really like to climb! Today I decided it would be fun to climb on the coffee table. I would climb up and Mommy would make me get down. I would scream and scream until I could get up again but Mommy just kept taking me down. She finally let me play there for a minute while she took a picture.

Mommy set up my splash table this week and we've playing in it a couple times a day. It's a lot of fun. It gets hot outside and I try to climb in but Mommy never lets me. Mommy laminated some pictures of everybody for me to play with and practice saying names. She still has to make a few more but so far I have pictures of: Grammy, Papa, Grandma Karen, Grammie & Papa Ferry, Aunt Dawn, Uncle John, Uncle Jeff, Aunt Shannon & Uncle Brent, Cassie, Johnny, Ella, Kara, Maya, Nana, Jax, Mommy and Daddy

Did I mention that I like to climb? One of my favorite places to climb is on the couch. It's fun to bounce on the cushions. Mommy isn't happy when I do this and she usually makes me get down. Today she gave up though and just took this video. I'm watching Handy Manny in the background.

Cobbler

We went over to the Cherne's for dinner. It was really good. I ate two whole corn cobs. Mmmm. We tried to go swimming but we barely got in and saw lightening so we had to get out. I did have a few seconds to try out my new floaties though and they worked good.Cassie fed me some whip cream and peach cobbler. I liked the cobbler best.Aunt Dawn let me help stir the whip creamand Cassie let me feed her a little. I was really tired and fell asleep with Uncle John. I wish he were home more and not working so hard.

Groundhog's Day

So Thursday and Friday were pretty much a repeat of Wednesday. We waiting around for the water damage people who showed up, ran tests, told us it was still wet, took away one of two fans but left us in a wind tunnel. Friday night and we are now down to only 3 fans in the kitchen drying the cabinets. Hopefully by Monday it will be done. Then we wait for the repair people to replace the baseboards, and clean the carpet and tile. Uncle John came home today so we went over there for dinner. I had my new favorite...hot dog for dinner. Uncle John took us to Toy's R Us and even bought me a Batman car. Daddy, John and Johnny dressed me up in a monkey costume while we were there and then let me run all around in it. It was pretty funny! Mommy bought me a potty. She knows it's too early but he you got to give it to her for hoping. I got to ride the Snoopy ice cream truck on the way out and Cassie won a stuffed teddy bear in the crane game. All the grownups got Pixie Sticks but they shared a little with me.

Sleepover

We had a sleepover at the Cherne's. It was really hot and noisy at our house with all the fans so Aunt Dawn let us stay there. She even gave up her bed for use. I've slept in it before but Mommy and Daddy thought it was really nice. It's such a big bed that we all had a ton of room. Thanks to the Cherne's for letting us do laundry and spend the night! We took Daddy to work and then came home to wait for the water damage people. We had to stay in the bedroom most of the day because there were machines and an extension cords all over the place. When the water people finally came they said it was still wet (the test with machines) and the fans have to stay.
