-I currently weigh 38 pounds and am 39 inches tall.
-I wake up around 6 am, nap between 2-4 and go to bed between 9-9:30
-I sleep in a fire engine bed and insist on being read a book before bed. I like to have music and my night light and I must have a hug and kiss from both mom and dad.
-I wear a pull-up for naps and bedtime but recently they have always been dry so mom and dad are going to try and stop using them soon.
-I like to eat pizza, hotdogs, hamburgers (no bun, no pickles, no sauce) and bacon. For snack I enjoy goldfish, fruit, Wheat Thins, or gummy fruit snacks. I usually drink V8 Splash, apple juice, orange juice, Sunny D, or Capri-Sun.
-Current favorite movies are: Lion King, Scooby Doo, Recess, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, James and the Giant Peach, and Harry Potter.
-My favorite tv shows are: Backyardigans, Little Einsteins, Agent Oso, and Jack and the Neverland Pirates
-I still LOVE cars! My new favorite thing is swimming. I also enjoy transformers, dinosaurs and airplanes.
-I have 67 Disney Cars (the movie) cars. I can name 48 of them, 8 are Maters and 14 McQueen’s though.
- My favorite books are: Brown Bear, Brown Bear, Go! Dog Go!, and Pajama Time
-I like to play Hungry Hippos, Memory, and Candy Land
-When we go for a walk or to the park I always collect sticks to bring home.
-I’ve gotten really good and playing pretend. I like to crawl around and pretend to be a dog or a cat insisting everybody pet me. I also pretend I’m a baby and crawl in mommy’s lap and ask her to sing to me. When I play on my own I can often be heard talking about saving the princess, living happily ever after, treasure maps, saving someone or even saying your majesty.
-I’m still working on learning my birthday. I have the 25th down but Mommy usually has to say the April part. If you ask me where I live I can tell you Tempe, Arizona. I also know that Grammie and Papa live in Tucson, Nana lives in California, the Cherne’s live in Chicago, and my cousins Ella, Kara, and Maya live in Michigan. I also talk about New York City and Tokyo. I’m also learning to spell my name. If Mommy says C-O-L then I’ll say, “T-O-N”.
-Mommy and Daddy asked what I thought we should name my baby sister and I said, “Birthday cake”, “ A-R-L-I-N”, and “Shaggy”.
-Things I want to do soon: Visit Disneyland, visit the beach, go camping, and go fishing.
-Some stuff I say on a regular basis: “I did that yesterday”. I use this one a lot but not always refering to the day before I could mean last week or ten minutes ago. “Ok. That’s fine.” Yesterday at the store mommy said I had to wait until we got to the car to open my car. I responded with this statement and the clerk thought it was funny. Mommy thinks it is more the way I say it than the actual words. When I want someone to do something like help me clean up my toys I’ll say, “I’ll be your best friend” or “You can be my good helper”. Mommy has no idea where I learned this one but must have been school. When we are swimming it’s time to get out when I’m all “Prinkely". Mommy is trying to get me to say wrinkly but it never comes out that way. When driving in the car I get really upset when we are at stop lights and yell, “That guys not waving at me. He’s not saying hi.” Each and every night I like to ask, “Why is the sun going down?” When I wake up from nap or bedtime I always say, “I had a good dream”. I also use this phrase as a question. For example, Mommy might lay me down and ten minutes later I’ll try and get up and say, “Mommy, I had a good dream?” to see if I can get up. I call everyone “Buddy” but if you call me Buddy I’ll say, “I’m not Buddy I’m Colton!” If you ask me something I usually respond in third person. For example, at swim lessons when they ask who wants to go first I raise my hand and say, “Colton does!” When Mommy was taking these pictures she would say, “Say cheese!” and I would say, “Macaroni” or some other strange thing.
