November 11, 2010 – Veteran’s Day

Mommy had the day off work today so I got to stay home. Last night Mommy pulled out the Pipeworks set Aunt Dawn gave us and built me a car (well she started it). When I came walking into the family room this morning and saw it I said, “Woooowww…look at that!” Mommy and I quickly got to work and finished it up and then I took it for a couple of test runs. Then we started building a jungle gym with tunnels.  This Pipeworks set is SUPER COOL! Thanks Chernes!

A number of Mommy’s students were in the parade (Band, ROTC, Girl Scouts) and Mommy’s friend Amy and her son Cody met us there. It was lots of fun! It started with a fly by from a B-25. Cody is an airplane expert so we learned lots of new stuff about plans. P1270579-1P1270578-1  P1270582-1P1270602-1
This is Austin, one of Mommy’s students, and his little brothers. He saw us and they came over to say hi. I had my little flag from last year and Amy let me use a big flag they bought. It was tiring waving the flag so sometimes I put it down and just waved with my hand. I got pretty excited over the motorcycles and bands.
