I got my first look at Disneyland today. It was all so exciting. We strolled down Main Street U.S.A checking out all the shops. We had to wait a little while for them to open up the park past Main Street. We waited in one of the stores at the end of Main Street and I even got to see a little girl push the button to open up the park. Cassie and Johnny ran to go on Space Mountain and Matterhorn before the lines were too long. We went to Peter Pan's Flight first. I rode with Mommy in a ship that flew. It was dark and I got a little bit scared because it had some big drops. I held Mommy really tight but I looked all around at the characters. Next I went on Dumbo with Uncle John. It went up and down flying over water. It was kind of scary too so I held tight to Uncle John. Cassie and Johnny caught up to us and we went into the Mad Hatter a shop with lots of hats. I tried on a few and the Cherne's bought me some red Mickey ears. They even had my name put on it. I wore my ears for most of the trip. The next ride we went on was the Mad Tea Party. I sat with Johnny and Aunt Dawn but we didn't spin at all. Cassie and Mommy sat in the teacup next to us and they spun around a lot. We went on It's a Small World next. I sat on Cassie's lap in a row with Aunt Dawn and Mommy rode in front so she could see my face and take pictures. I looked all around and liked the music. I even sang through parts of it. I was already really tired though and I fell asleep in Cassie's lap right at the end. While I was napping Mommy, Uncle John, Johnny and Cassie rode Big Thunder Railroad. I woke up after just a little nap and we all went on Pirate's of the Caribbean (I sat on Johnny's lap). Mommy, Cassie, Johnny and John had fast passes for Big Thunder Railroad so they rode that one again while Aunt Dawn and me went into the Pioneer Merchantile. Aunt Dawn bought me a leather bracelet and had my name carved into it. It is really cool! By this time I was getting really hungry so Uncle John gave me a bottle. We all had lunch at the Golden Horseshoe but I only got baby food and a piece of Zwieback toast. I was already having so much fun and the day wasn't even half over. We went on the Jungle Cruise (I sat with Cassie and Uncle John) and the best part was the hippo that came out of the water. I rode with Cassie and Mommy on the Haunted Mansion. I wasn't even all that scared. I liked the floating fortune teller head and tried talking to it. I rode on Winnie the Pooh with Uncle John and so far it was my favorite. Cassie, Johnny and Mommy went on Splash Mountain. While they were gone Uncle John let me try some of his big dill pickle. It was so yummy! I ate a lot of it. Mommy and my cousins went on Splash Mountain twice and got really wet. They were so wet they wanted to go back to the hotel and change. On the way out of the park I got to meet and have my picture taken with Goofy. He was funny looking and I thought he was really neat. We went back to the hotel and relaxed for a little bit and even ate dinner. When it was time to go back to the park we had to wait a long time for the bus because the driver was on a break. We went to California Adventure and I hung out with Aunt Dawn in Bug's Land while Mommy and Cassie rode The Twilight Zones Tower of Terror a few times. I rode on Monsters Inc. with Uncle John and Johnny and then again with Mommy, Cassie and Aunt Dawn. It was getting late and we were all tired so we went back to the hotel. I played for a little bit and took a bath before going to bed.
