November 25, 2010- Happy Thanksgiving!

We went down to Grammie and Papa’s for Thanksgiving. I slept through the whole feast but Papa let me eat some whip cream with my apple. He tried to squirt it in my mouth but it felt funny so I just spit it out. I liked it when he put it in my hand though.

 
Grammie has a funny table that I could climb under. I stole some of the doggie toys and tried hiding there. Tigger never found me so I got out and rubbed her belly a little. I like Tigger! I can finally tell Jax, Buddy, and Chloe apart too! 
Uncle Jeff was lots of fun. I like spending time with him. Grammie, Uncle Jeff and I played with Play Dough. We made birdies, froggies and snakes. Uncle Jeff taught me how to roll snakes out of the Play Dough. 

November 24, 2010 – Thanksgiving Feast

   

We finally got around to doing one of my handprints. Mommy tried once before but it didn’t work out. This time we used a 3-d gel before the plaster  and that allowed it to get a lot of detail. Mommy loves it!

This is my hat and the rain stick that I made at school this week. We had a big Thanksgiving Feast tonight at school. We got to sit and visit with Simon’s family. It was a lot of fun!
  

November 20, 2010 – Two and a Half Pictures

Mommy wanted to get my pictures taken at 2 1/2 but we’ve been really busy and then I had that breakout on my face. We finally got around to it this weekend so really I’m closer to 2 years 7 months.

November 17, 2010 - Motorcycle

 
Mommy bought Daddy donuts last weekend and she let me have one. I called it a birthday cake and just bit the frosting off the top. Yep, I drew on my face again. This time I blamed it on Uncle John but I don’t think Mommy bought it. Woo hoo! I can finally reach the pedals on my motorcycle (I still need to grow a bit to get the leverage I need on that farthest spot). Mommy never bought the pedal extenders like Aunt Dawn showed her but I’m doing it. We tried going for a ride around the neighborhood but it is still pretty hard and I didn’t make it that far before I wanted my sweatshirt off and to walk. We went walking a new way tonight. I saw lots of cool stuff and we even found some houses with bunnies and turtle statues like I saw at Aunt Dawns.
  Mommy says she is going to count “Stop” as the first official word I read. These past couple weeks I love spotting stop signs and telling  Mommy when to “stop” and “go”. I have eagle eyes so sometimes I spot one way off in the distance but I still want Mommy to stop right away.
Did you know that there are books full of pictures of toys? Mommy says they are called catalogs. I’m loving it!
