January 11, 2010 – Pink eye again?

I had to stay home from school today because when I woke up my eye was all yucky and really red. You can see the red below the eye in this picture but I get that every once in awhile but the white of my eye (not really evident in this picture) was really red too. Mommy started giving me drops right away so hopefully it will be all better tomorrow morning (plus I can go back to school because I’ll have been taking the medicine for over 24 hours). Mom and I had fun today playing cars, riding wiggle cars, coloring, tracing my outline, watching Little Einstein’s and Madagascar, playing Toy Story Memory, reading books, and just spending time together. I think you’ll be able to tell that Mommy played with her camera a little too and then used some new tools on the pictures while I was napping.
     

Midmorning I saw mommy eating cereal and wanted some too. I usually don’t like cereal (and trust me mom has tried giving it to me plenty of times) but today it was really good. Perhaps because it was something called Captain Crunch and the box was really cool looking.
    
Mommy let me use a piece of really big paper to color on. First she traced my outline and then when colored all over the page. See the picture below. Mommy wasn’t sure what I was drawing but when she asked I told her that bottom circle is daddy, the circle off to the right above my traced head is mommy, and there was even a circle (more like a scribble) for Jax. Mommy was impressed because its the first time I’ve told her what I was drawing. I made my first family picture.
 
Daddy and I played pirates again tonight. We were nice enough to pose for a couple of pictures before I decided to turn the camera on Mommy.
Mommy took these pictures to show my eye but you just can’t see the redness (of the white of the eye) in the pictures. The one below show a little in the bottom right of right eye but because I have red eye from the camera it doesn’t show up well.
