May 31, 2011–Zoo

This is the card my two’s class gave me on my last day. I got to go back and hang with them for the day and the teachers even brought ice cream. Mommy read me the card and then I sat in the chair trying to read it to myself, “Don’t go! Oh no, we don’t want you to go.”

Grandma Karen wanted to see our zoo so we went early in the morning and on a day where the high was only expected to be 89 degrees. It was warm but not too bad at all and we covered most of the zoo before Grandma pooped out. We even bought zoo passes so now we can go back whenever we want for a whole year. I was much more interested and making comments about the animals this time. I wanted to know what each one was called and said stuff like, “He has a long neck.” or “Why is he sleeping?” I was also very interested when there was only one animal in an exhibit. I wanted to know where his mommy and daddy were.

Grandma Karen says that my cousins always ride the camel at their zoo so she paid for me to take a ride.

Mommy bought me these Lightning McQueen googles and I wanted to test them out.
