August 31, 2010 – Weeknight Play Date

This video is from the other night when I was eating ice cream. It was good but I only had room for a few bites.

Daddy taught me how to do the Running Man. I haven’t perfected it yet but I’m still practicing.

Mommy thinks that it is funny when I walk like this when I’m sneaking away. I slowly test the water pretending to be casually walking along playing but she always catches on.

Mommy says that the splash pads are all closing this weekend because it is the end of the season. We totally don’t get it because it is still plenty warm for splash pads well into November. Anyway Mommy wanted to make sure I get my fill before they close so after school we went to the one up the street for a little while.
                 I got to have a play date with my friend Aiden. I haven’t seen Aiden for a few months because he has been living with his Mommy. He keeps getting hurt (broken finger, broken foot, 2 black eyes, broken finger, etc.) so CPS has temporarily given custody to his Daddy while they are investigating his mommy. I’m only telling you this so when you see the pictures you already know the story. I was glad to get to see Aiden again and we had lots of fun playing cars together. He really liked my ball pit and castle this time.
