4th Haircut

I got my 4th haircut today. Mommy wanted to just get it trimmed out of my eyes and off my ears but left it up to Daddy because he always complains about my haircut. They cut a lot off and Mommy kind of misses the long hair but it looks good and will be nice for summer.

New place vs. old place

So I really love our new place! There is so much room for me to play and explore. I love the steps in the family room and my new talent is climbing. I've also discovered cupboards. There is so many fun things to play with inside them. I couldn't really see outside at our old place so I love all the sliding door windows and looking outside. I giggle when Jax comes up to the window. Mommy had to block the fireplace with Jax's toys because I kept opening the door to look inside. My new room is so big and I'm even sleeping in it. Mommy is happy about this because I didn't really sleep in my old room. Each time Mommy put me to sleep and tried to leave the room or go down the stairs I woke up from all the creaking. Mommy says her favorite thing is the kitchen sink. It is really big and deep and the removable spray handle makes everything easier. She likes the big trash and recycle cans because at the old place she had to lug the trash to the community dumpster and there wasn't any recycle. We like the garage too. Not only is it safer getting in and out of the car I sometimes actually stay asleep when she gets me out of the car. I never did that at the old place because I wanted to look around outside or the car alarm would get me up. There is hot water at the ready for dishes or showers. At the old place you had to turn the water on and wait 5-10 minutes and hope it got hot. Hmmm. Mommy also said the clean carpet was her favorite. Our feet and my clothes no longer turn black from crawling or walking around. Jax's favorite is definitely the big yard. The only thing Mommy misses about the old place is the master closets. Daddy and Mommy now share a closet and there isn't enough room. Thanks to the Cherne's for all our fun new stuff! We got a pool table, couches, a pool shower, a pool chest to keep the toys in, a bunch of bookshelves for all our stuff, and lots of other neat stuff Mommy hasn't gotten out of the garage yet. Thanks Grammie and Papa we are enjoying the remodeled house!

1st swim of the season

I got this shirt when I went to Disneyland.

Me and Aunt Dawn chillin'. I like my new house! People actually come to visit us and I have so much room to crawl, walk and play.

I outgrew my twelve month jammies. They are way too tight and my toe is even popping out. Moving on up to 18 and 24 month clothing.

Today was Aunt Dawn and Uncle John's twentieth anniversary and Uncle John was back in town. Happy Anniversary! I went over to there house for a few hours while Mommy worked at finishing unpacking. They took me swimming in my very own baby pool (I only went in the big pool last year). Aunt Dawn heated the water for me and filled it with toys. They even bought me a new swimsuit, a t-shirt and some new jammies. I had so much fun. I crawled all around, splashing, and playing with the toys.

The big boys were patient with me. I kept poking them in the ear and trying to grab/pet their hair.

This morning Mommy took me to the library for the baby story time. It was a lot of fun. We sang songs, heard a few little poems, played with bubbles and even a parachute. I like to watch the other little kids. After that Mommy took me to the mall to play. I really like the indoor playground. I had fun with the big boys today. I didn't want to play with any of the little babies but I followed the big boys all around.

Mommy had to do some cleaning and I liked crawling around when the place was empty.

Catching Up

At the Cubs game

Mommy has been so busy she hasn't been able to blog for awhile so there is a lot to catch up on. I'm loving the new house. I even have my playroom with all my toys and my room is huge. Mommy still has a lot of unpacking to do but my play area is done. Grammie came up from Tucson last Thursday and has been helping watch me so Mommy can get some work done. We've had a lot of fun playing together. I'm learning lots of new things and can walk a few steps on my own now. I also like to wave my finger when someone says, "No, no" and I will finally hold my own bottle if no one will do it for me. I went to the Cubs vs. the A's game with Aunt Dawn and Cassie (Friday the 13th). We had a lot of fun. Mommy and Grammy took me to get my 10 month pictures taken. With everything going on we were a little behind so really they are like 10 1/2 pictures. We went with the baseball theme and I wore my ball cap.

Packing

This was the room upstairs we filled with boxes.

We're moving back to the old house so Mommy has been working really hard packing. There are boxes everywhere and some of my toys are disappearing. I fell and hit my head on the bottom of the coffee table. I even got my first real bruise above my eye. Poor Mommy was so worried but I was just fine. I got my fourth tooth (top right) on Tuesday (the 3rd). Wednesday, Daddy's Great Aunt Noni came to visit with her daughter Darlene and her husband Graydon. Today I went with Grammie and Cassie to Changing Hands and meet The Cat in the Hat. I spent the day playing with them at Aunt Dawn's while Mommy and Daddy moved. They had a long day but got just about everything moved to our new place. Thank you Matt, Charles, and Scott for moving all our stuff!
